Ran again last night the same route, got 45:22. Still over two minutes off best, but 2 minutes better than Sunday. Today I probably need to rest as feeling sore in my legs, we'll see later.
Looked up what people recommend for food before a long run, pasta seems good, so I had fresh pasta, tomato and basil sauce from M&S, and some roasted baby tomatoes and peppers. Unfortunately the kids found the donuts too, so I had a donut. Also had that yogurt drink.
I have recently run a few races and got some PBs. I ran the Rainow 5 in 42:24 which was a few minutes off my PB set in 2012. Here are some charts to show for other races:
